Good afternoon!!! Today in Nursery we talked about Spring with Miss Lindsay. We know it's early but with these beautiful days it's hard not to think about it.

We then traced our hands to make a flower.

Which we then colored how we wanted to! There were so many colors! Maybe tonight we can make a flower out of your hands!!!!

Good afternoon! Today in Nursery we worked on Playtime with Miss Lindsay!! We got to hear a new story about our friends Melody, Star, Twig, Rocket and Monkey!

We had to color Melody's balloon using the colors of the rainbow!!

Then we celebrated Matteo's 4th birthday by drawing special cards for him to take home with him!!!

Good afternoon!! Today in Nursery we practiced the play with Miss Lindsay and Miss Paola.

We are working on our places on stage!

And we have to learn all our lines!! 

Then with Miss Helen we worked on Socio Affetivo! We had to draw what we were feeling as we were listening to classical music.

Good afternoon!!! Today in Nursery we started our day with play practise with Miss Helen and Miss Paola!

After Lunch, Miss Lindsay had a surprise for us! While she was home sick she prepared our masks for the play! There are so many different animals! Giraffes, Zebras, Rhinos, Hyenas, Elephants and Lions! 

She had us use the Puntaruola to cut out the ears! It wasn't that hard and she said we are getting very good at punching holes!!

We can't wait for you to see us all dressed up

Buon pomeriggio.

Oggi i bambini hanno fatto un meraviglioso laboratorio artistico con il Prof. Luca Truccolo.

Hanno dato colore al mezzo busto "l'autunno" dell'artista Arcimboldo utilizzando i colori a cera.

Ecco i capolavori dei bambini!

Complimenti ai nostri piccoli artisti!

Poi i bambini hanno fatto il laboratorio logico-matematico con Miss Paola, riprendendo il concetto topologico vicino/lontano già affrontato questa settimana, per rafforzarne la comprensione.

Auguriamo a tutti un piacevole weekend!

Buon pomeriggio.

Oggi i bambini si sono divertiti a ripassare le canzoni in inglese della nostra recita insieme a Miss Helen. 

Poi hanno fatto il laboratorio logico matematico con Miss Paola parlando del concetto topologico vicino/lontano. Prima hanno conversato portando le proprie esperienze personali e facendo degli esempi di qualcosa di vicino e lontano a loro all'interno della sezione, poi hanno colorato la scheda dove le foglie vicine all'albero erano gialle e quelle lontane erano rosse.

Buon pomeriggio!

Oggi i bambini di Nursery, insieme a Miss Paola, hanno giocato al gioco della tombola raffigurante i vestiti.

Questo gioco stimola l'attenzione e la concentrazione. Quindi tutti con gli occhi puntati al sacchetto delle carte estratte da Miss Paola per poi segnare quelle presenti nelle proprie cartelle.

Complimenti ai vincitori: ci vuole molta attenzione ma anche un pizzico di fortuna!

I bambini hanno poi fatto un bellissimo laboratorio musicale con Miss Elena.

Hanno ascoltato la fiaba musicale di "Pierino e il lupo" raccontata dalla voce di Roberto Benigni. 

I bambini erano affascinati dalle immagini illustrate e raccontate dalla voce del cd musicale.

Ogni personaggio della fiaba rappresentava un diverso strumento musicale.

I bambini hanno poi ascoltato ed eseguito dei ritmi con il suono del bongo che Miss Elena ha portato in sezione.

E......qualcuno si è anche cimentato come musicista! Che divertimento!

Good afternoon!! Today in Nursery we had a special visitor! Prof. Luca!!! It is always fun when comes to our classroom! We had a small discussion with him!

Then we did movements with him to understand how shapes work!!

Then we used some of our class toys such as the sea animals! WE had to try our best to copy them!!

Prof. Luca was always ready to give us a hand!

We tried to make them as detailed as possible.

And we even colored them so they would be the same! We even used our blocks that have different shapes!

With them, we were able to create so many fun things!! It's always a great day when Prof. Luca comes!!

Good afternoon!!! Today in Nursery we worked on a special project with Miss Paola!! In only two days it will be Valentine's Day so we had a special discussion on what love is! Then Miss Paola drew a big red heart and we had to punch it out with the Puntoruola.

Then we took some red tissue paper and rolled it into little balls.

It was hard work but we got it done!!

Then Miss Paola wrote down everything we said!! We had so many good ideas!!

Then we took all of our paper balls and glued them around the heart!! We even made a small heart out of the extra balls!! 

As you can see, our work came out better than we could have imagined!!  You will be able to see it displayed in the class room!!

Good afternoon!! Yesterday in Nursery we worked with Miss Lindsay to prepare some African Animals for the background of our play!! We were each given the animal we are going to be in the play and we had to "paint" them with our fingers! Miss Lindsay mixed just the right color for each animal! There were Zebras!

Hyenas!!!!!

Giraffes!!!

And many more that will be on display during the play!!!
